Day 4...Identify

UNDERSTAND, BRAINSTORM, IDENTIFY, DISCUSS

Well thats all we did in today's class....

Fistly we had our lecturer Alfie to go throught again on what are we surposed to work....

He made his explanations short and simple that we were able to UNDERSTAND what was required to do.

After which we get into our groups for futhetr discussion. We den in our groups did some BRAINSTORMING on the themes we were going to work out with. When we had narrowed down our themes we IDENTIFIED and DISCUSSED the content of the video and the style of the video we were going to work with.

Even after much disscussion we still have not confrim on what to do as we are constanly updating on new ideas.We hope to narrow down our ideas and choose the final ones for presentation on tues.

Day 3

Hello

Yea todays the third of this module MOI P1,
Today all the classes had lesson in the lecture theater. All our lecturers, Alfie, Ronald and Wahidah played some videos for us to show what we are surposed to do n not to do for our project 1.

We were told to observe the style of the video, the tyopes of seting they have used and the way the introduction and the ending was animated. The video from marvel was useful as it give me an idea on how to make my videos creative as possible.

Besides after watching all the video me and my group mates are more clear now to think of what kind of work to present. Yea so thats all for todays blog..

Day 2....Discussion

Yo me again

Hey today is day 2 and we have started our discussions regarding our video.
Today we started class around 12.30 as we waited for the studnets who had morning class to come. After which we gathered with our groupmates as went into squeezing our brains for themes, content and style of video to work with.

Basically each and everyone of my groupmates came out with interesteing n creative content and style of video to work on. We then shared our ideas with our lecturer Alfie. He gave us comment that our style of the video was interesting but we were out of the theme that we surposed to work on.

After consulting with all the other groups in our class, alfie realised that we were all focused on the style of the video that we forget about the theme we going to work with. Therefore Alfie then explain more briefly to us on the exact thing we are surposed to work on.

Now my groupmates and me are clear on what to do for the video, besides us i am sure my fellow classmates are also cleared after todays discussion. Thanks to Alfie we are on the right track.

On the whole i am happy to work with this environment as my group mates are understanding and sportive. We listen to each other's idea before adding more to our discussions. Besides my groupmates, my lecturer Alfie is patient and very helpful to us, that at time we go off track and he brings us back.

Well thats for now, keep reading my blog people, well i know is long winded but there are interesting stuffs about Moi and my groups disscussions to uploaded in the upcoming blogs.

Day 1....MOI P1

Hello,

Well it was my first day for this module, Moving Images(MOI) Project 1.
We had briefing by our lecturer Alan, on what we are expected for this module in the Lecture
theatre 25.
We were told to create a video, on our experinces and journey being a MOI designer in Temasek polytecnic(TP) for the pass 1 year. Our target audience are secondary school students, Tp freshmens, Open house visitors and Parents. The video we are to create should be able to encourage and motivate our taget audience to choose Tp Design as their first choice.

After the briefin, we went to out classes, and were serparated into groups of fours and fives.
My group mates are Jen, Shuxian, Adeline, Gina and myself.
We then get together with our class lecturer Alfie and dicussed the brief futher detailed.
We were then told to come out with our own idea individualy and discuss with our group mates tmr.

The first day was not bad. After al the discussions it seems to be a easy video production with alot of plaining to be done. I am happy with my group mates as we are a fun bunch of girls, who love to explore new things out. All of us know each other quite well after spending a year in Tp as designers together. I hope we will work out as one and produce a success full piece of video.
